Photographic Wall Art – Trees & Timbers, Australia

Australia is a land of great extremes, beauty, and diversity. To the photographer, Australia is a place of such rugged beauty illuminated by bright, high-contrast light. It is what enables the uniqueness of our images. It is such a privilege to share images I have captured, whether through the many online and print publications I have contributed to over the years.

Putting together these galleries has been an excellent reflection on not only where I have been photographically but what elements of the landscape I am drawn. Trees, alive or dead, exude a photographic character, whether in a dimly lit forest or the harshly illuminated outback.

I have always been fascinated by trees, but how much is now apparent after reviewing a decade-plus of images. They are beautiful elements of nature to photograph. They tell a story of drought, floods, resources for humans, fires, and their contribution to nature.
